Background
Umbria Hospitality Group, the parent company of Mulino Italian Kitchen & Bar and La Terrazza, sought a cohesive brand presence across its growing portfolio. As the sole designer, I created menus, print and digital marketing materials, and social media assets that unified the visual identity while allowing each restaurant to maintain its own character. The updated systems improved brand consistency, usability, and production efficiency, ensuring a polished and flexible design foundation for future growth.
Core problem
2023 — Mulino Menu Refresh
Mulino needed an updated menu design that better reflected its refined dining atmosphere. The new layout had to feel sophisticated, flexible for frequent updates, and cohesive with the restaurant’s elevated brand identity.
2024 — La Terrazza Menu Design
When La Terrazza opened in May 2024, new menus and marketing materials were developed to establish its distinct identity while maintaining visual harmony within the Umbria Hospitality brand family.
2025 — Menu Optimization for Mulino & La Terrazza
Menus were redesigned a second time to reduce printing costs, transitioning from a folded to a smaller, double-sided format while maintaining clarity and brand consistency.
2023–2025 — Marketing & Brand Cohesion
Across three years, a variety of social media graphics, pop-ups, print ads, and digital materials were created to promote both individual restaurants and Umbria Hospitality as a group. This ensures a cohesive, recognizable presence across every touchpoint.

Outcome
The work established a unified, recognizable visual identity for Umbria Hospitality across menus, print, and digital marketing. Menus became cleaner and more efficient to update, while advertising and social content consistently reflected the group’s elevated yet approachable brand personality. By maintaining harmony across platforms, each restaurant strengthened its individual presence while contributing to a cohesive hospitality brand system.
